Through the inquiry form on our website we process:
When a booking is made, further details needed to conclude the contract (e.g. ID/passport and payment details) may be requested separately.
Data is collected through the website form, WhatsApp, email and phone, partly by automated means. When you submit the form, your message may open pre-filled in WhatsApp or in your device’s email app; the message is then transmitted through that app (e.g. WhatsApp) and subject to its own terms.
Legal grounds: necessity for entering into or performing a contract (KVKK Art. 5/2-c), compliance with legal obligations (Art. 5/2-ç) and our legitimate interests, provided your fundamental rights are not harmed (Art. 5/2-f).
Form inquiries are stored in our CRM system so that we can follow them up. Information needed to make the booking (name, contact details, dates, number of guests and inquiry notes) may be shared with the operator / owner of the boat concerned. Data may also be shared, to the extent necessary, with software and messaging service providers we use (whose servers may be located abroad) and with authorised public authorities on request.
Personal data you send us through the enquiry form, WhatsApp or email is kept for up to 2 years from the date of your request and is then deleted, destroyed or anonymised. Where applicable law (for example tax and commercial law) requires a longer retention period, the data is kept only for as long as that law requires.
If the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies to you, you additionally have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority. Our processing relies on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to and performance of a contract), Art. 6(1)(c) (legal obligations) and Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interests).
Please send requests regarding your rights, with information that allows us to verify your identity, to [email protected] or in writing to the address above. Requests are answered free of charge within 30 days at the latest.
